Permanent Magnetic Coupling Introduction
A permanent magnetic coupling mainly consists of three parts: an inner rotor, an isolation sleeve and an outer rotor. The processing technology of the inner and outer rotors determines the service life of the magnetic coupling. The inner and outer rotors manufactured by our company adopt advanced processing techniques, ensuring magnetic materials never come into contact with media to prevent corrosion, thus achieving a longer service life.
Currently, isolation sleeves on the market are mostly made of stainless steel. When a metal isolation sleeve is used, it is exposed to a sinusoidal alternating magnetic field. Eddy currents are induced on the cross‑section perpendicular to the magnetic field lines and converted into heat, which shortens the service life of the magnetic coupling. A cooling device must be installed under high‑speed or high‑torque operating conditions.
Our company uses new polymer materials, which can greatly reduce eddy current loss during magnetic transmission, generate minimal heat, and significantly improve transmission efficiency.
